I love snow, the outdoors and a good adventure. I am drawn to the mountains but find myself living the life of a flatlander in the great state of Minnesota. We may not have mountains, but we have river bluffs, the BWCA and over 10,000 lakes. I was born here, my family lives here and our people settled here when Minnesota was just a territory. If it weren’t for those deep roots, I’d probably be living in Whitefish, Montana instead of Shoreview, Minnesota. I have traveled all over the world - from the north Artic to Antarctica and places in between. One thing I know for sure is that family is the most important thing in the world.
My photographic journey began at age 10 when I received my first camera. After I shot that first roll of film and got the prints back - I was hooked! In 2012, I launched Kerrin Burke Lahr Photography LLC. It was one of the best decisions of my life! I specialize in portraiture, lifestyle and travel. My style - to creatively capture a personality, emotion and/or mood. My goal - to cultivate a fun and relaxed atmosphere so together we can make the best photos you’ve ever seen of yourself.
